Welcome to Medentee.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://medentee.com (the “Website”) and the web-based application available at https://app.medentee.com (the “Platform”).

The Website and Platform are owned and operated by Medentee Ltd (“Medentee”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.

By accessing or using the Website or Platform, creating an account, or interacting with Medentee services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or Platform.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to visitors of medentee.com, registered users of the Medentee Platform, and participants in communities, events, projects, or collaborations hosted on Medentee.

Certain features or services may be subject to additional terms or policies, which will be presented where applicable.

2. About Medentee

Medentee is a professional communication, collaboration, and community infrastructure platform, designed primarily for healthcare and dental professionals.

Medentee enables professional messaging and networking, communities and event-based interaction, file sharing and case-related collaboration, and structured professional communication workflows.

Medentee provides technical infrastructure only.

Medentee is not a healthcare provider, a medical or dental service, a medical device, or a diagnostic or treatment solution.

3. Platform Access & User Accounts

Certain Platform features require registration.

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, keep your login credentials confidential, and use the Platform only for lawful and professional purposes.

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

4. Professional Responsibility & No Medical Advice

Medentee does not provide medical, dental, or clinical advice.

Any discussions, shared content, case-related materials, or professional opinions exchanged via the Platform are provided for peer-to-peer professional collaboration only and do not replace independent clinical judgment.

All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating professional.

5. Case Collaboration & Third-Party Professional Services

The Platform may be used by independent professional service providers, educators, planners, or organisers who offer services, support, or educational activities to other professionals.

Where such services are offered, Medentee acts solely as a technical and communication facilitator. Services are provided by independent third parties and may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, or agreements.

Medentee does not control, supervise, or assume responsibility for third-party professional services or outcomes.

6. Patient Data, Consent & Lawful Use

If you upload, share, or process case-related or patient-related information on the Platform, you confirm that you have a lawful basis to do so, all required patient consents have been obtained, and data is anonymised or minimised where reasonably possible.

Medentee processes such information only as part of providing the Platform and does not determine clinical purposes or decisions.

7. Communities, Events & Content

Communities, events, projects, and groups hosted on Medentee may be public or private, moderated or unmoderated, and temporary or ongoing.

We do not guarantee availability, continuity, or outcomes of any community or event.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or content.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use Medentee for unlawful purposes, upload or share content you are not authorised to share, violate professional, ethical, or regulatory obligations, or interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.

We may remove content or restrict access where necessary to protect users, the Platform, or legal compliance.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and Platform functionality are owned by Medentee Ltd or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant Medentee a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process such content solely for Platform functionality.

10. Third-Party Services & Integrations

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services.

Medentee does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and Platform are provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not warrant uninterrupted access, accuracy of user-generated content, or suitability for specific professional purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medentee Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, professional or clinical decisions made by users, outcomes of third-party services, or loss of data, revenue, or opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Medentee constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
